The Farm Aveleda

Quinta da Aveleda is located in the region “Minho”. This region is excellent in green wines, fruits and different agriculture products.

This farm produce vinho verde, the famous Adega Velha cognac, Charamba a red wine from the Douro region, wine from the Beiras and Estremadura provinces. The annual production of Aveleda is circa 12 million bottles.

Quinta da Aveleda is a family business dated from 1947 and is situated 40 km away from the town of Porto.

We start our visit walking through the park, having the oportunity to observe the different flowers and the century old trees like:
The Japanise cedar, the Marsh cyprus, the Tulip tree, the American seqoia, the Indian horse chestnut ....

Later you will pass the family house, the lakes, the fountains,... You will visit the wine lodge, the bottling and at the end we will have a taste of the wines with cheese.
