| Join us to a visit to the town of Amarante and have lunch at a “vinho verde” (green wine) vineyard located in the region of “Terras do Sousa”. The district is situated between the rivers Sousa, Tâmega and Douro, excellent region for “green wine” (vinhos verdes), fruits, cereals and milk-food.
Amarante, is a charming riverside town set on the banks of the Tâmega.
You will have free time to explore the town, to visit the convent of São Gonçalo, to pass the 18th century old bridge, to admire the small streets with their old and narrow houses.
Amarante is famous their pastry shops with delicious local sweets.

A Vinho Verde Vineyard - a manour house
Lunch and visit.
This farm has a beautiful Manour House from the XIV century. This property is composed by the Main House, a Handicraft shop, a cheese factory, a wine cellar, five hectares of vineyards and a garden.
From May to June we can admire the gardens with their production of peonies. |
